This blog, currently "uncurrent," could be considered one of the abandoned. Fitting into the early summer NYT article about dead sites as this, I am not vowing to continue, just to let it stay here, pickling in its own web juices to see what crawler picks it up to part of an internet "archive."

All Is Well

Dearest All--

I've been getting a lot of emails as to my whereabouts and status this weekend. This is to let you know that I was in Cairo, not near the events on the Sinai peninsula. I did, however, transfer busses in that town 2 weekends ago when I went to Dahab. Alas, it's bad news on the whole, but life seems to be regular in the city.

Thanks for all of your thoughts and well wishes. More to come on a lighter note later.
