This blog, currently "uncurrent," could be considered one of the abandoned. Fitting into the early summer NYT article about dead sites as this, I am not vowing to continue, just to let it stay here, pickling in its own web juices to see what crawler picks it up to part of an internet "archive."

Chandeliers and Boats, an odd combo.






Here are photos described in the previous post:
1) The felucca by night with the Cairo Tower behind it--if I were a photoshop master, this would be a little brighter.
2) The cute lotus flower chandelier--that's in my room. Helwa awi (so cute!).
3) The cut glass one is in the living room. Both were super dusty when we moved in, and what a difference a cleaning makes. The cut glass one is quite magnificent in all light, artificial or natural.
